Can I use any appliance bulb inside my oven?

I have an appliance bulb that says "Good for microwaves, refrigerators and ..." something else, I don't remember. But, I know it did not say ovens. Should it still be safe to use inside the oven? Or, can you only use one that says "Oven Bulb"?


thanks|||It should work, the only downside to not using the proper bulb in an oven is that it will burn out faster. Remember that the filament inside a light bulb is hotter than lava when it is turned on.|||You just want to make sure that it is rated for heat.|||It will work.They don't make and sell stove bulbs.
