How Can I Crush Ice Without Any Appliance To Do It With?

I need to crush ice to make cocktails but I don't have any special appliance that I can crush the ice with. Whats the best way to do it?|||Wrap some ice cubes in a clean towel and smash them with a hammer.|||smash it with the round side of a metal spoon. i swear it works

My suggestion was going to be put the ice in a zip-lock bag and smack it with a hammer.|||Place the ice in a plastic bag. Cover with a towel and smash with a hammer.|||put them in a ziploc bag and smash them with a hammer, the kind for tenderizing meat
