How to get a fixed appliance out of your mouth?

I have a so called appliance in my lower mouth. It has two rings that are glued to my back molars, with a wire that wraps around the inside of my lower teeth. The wire is connected to the rings. The wire snapped and is now stabbing the back of my tongue and i don't no how to get it out.|||go to the orthodontist to cut out the wire ASAP
