I have my TV plugged into an X10 Appliance Module which I can control from a remote control to turn the TV off. That works for turning the TV off and on. However, you can also Turn the TV set off and when you turn it back on, the X10 Appliance Module re-switches to ON.
I wouldn't think that the TV that is plugged into the module could switch the module. How is that happening?|||The module attempts to send a trickle of current through the plugged-in appliance even when "off". It notices the sequence (1) no current (2) current flow and applies full power when that happens.
