How much current is drawn by a 1500 Watt appliance operating at 120 Volts?
I think the answer is in amps? I can't figure out what the formula is.|||It's 12.5 amps.
W = E x I, so dividing the watts by the voltage will give current.
E is Voltage, I is Current.|||Again....you don't have the simplest of formulas at your disposal?
P=VI?|||P=VxI. or I=P/V.1500/120=12.5 amps.
