The act is dangerous, electricity may leak through wet floor and kill the person near by/|||it really depends on how much power and how complicated the device is. it could just die, smoke, blow up, or anything in between|||Well any non electronic device should still work afterwards. Hairdryers or toasters can take a beating with high current and temperature so they should survive. If the device is on at the wall socket then the circuit breaker will trip. Even if the device just gets moderately wet, it will trip after 1-10mins. Visible effects could include some flashes of light... pretty much what you see in the movies.
