How long does it take for them to put the herbst appliance on?

Also, if you have any information about the herbst appliance, like how badly it hurts, the pros and cons of it and so on, would be greatly appreciated. (I would prefer answers from people who have or have had personal experience).|||i got mine in december it took about 30 min it didnt hurt when i got it it will feel weird because only your front eeth will touch for a week or so it really isnt that bad hard to chew though cause your teeth wont touch
